About

I am a 22 year old post-graduate student at Cardiff Journalism School at Cardiff University. I’m a trainee journalist doing newspaper journalism at the school and this site is designed to present examples of my work.

The articles here are a mixture of stories published by Media Wales during my work experience and those published by our in-house newspaper the Cardiff Evening News during our training. Most of the articles are news, but I do enjoy writing features as it gives me a chance to really get my teeth into something, and the same can be said for comment.

I am originally from Abergavenny in South Wales and did my undergraduate degree in American Studies at Reading University. I spent the second half of my second year studying at Kansas University in America and spent my gap year travelling Australia. If only I had the money to do it all again!
