On our final production day I was appointed Chief Sub Editor, overseeing the team of subs. It was my role to decide the lay-out of the entire newspaper and to liase with newsdesk on issues from pictures to which stories would be run. This edition of the paper came out on Friday March 21, 2008.

In our third week of production days, I was appointed News Editor. Overseeing the team of 25 trainees, I set the agenda and commissioned the stories to fill the paper. This edition of the paper came out on Friday 15 February, 2008.
